The places you can visit in Maui, Hawaii’s Hana Highway

There are a lots places to go to in Hawaii. One stop you should make is over at Hana. Although it can be a tiring trip and can take up a lot of time, this trip will be worth your while.

Starting fron Kaanapali, pack your things in advance and leave before noon as the sun can get pretty hot if you travel during that time. Plus, you will have more time to plan because it’s a good chance you won’t be back till evening falls. The numerous curves which are very sharp will take up your time when driving and those fifty plus single bridges will surely come your way, but even without those, you will need to start early because there are a couple of stops which you won’t want to miss.

Like most travel advice, it is recommended that you are equipped with the right intructional equipment and mapping tools when traveling through rough roads because you might encounter some difficulty in going to that point. There is no too much cause for concern though, becauses in terms of traveling, it is definitely safely incorporated with the sharp curves and fixed single-bridged roads. But with patience and smart driving, you’ll be able to figure it out and be compared to Gran Prix race care drivers.

Along the way, one of the popular sights that you can take in is the Ke’anea Peninsula. A wonderful sight on its own, this is far from the only thing you can catch a glimpse of going to Hana. Travel down to the peninsula and before you leave, visit taro fields. If you want to see a beautiful waterfall, take a quick reroute to the Pua’aka’a Park

There is also a famous black beach located at the Wai’anapanapa Park. While inside the park, take a walk down onto the into the lair of the lava tube right beside the beach. There is a great view from the tube of the ocean outside. Most travelers absolutely enjoy this picturesque scene.

If you start early and leave by dawn, there is possibility that you’ll arrive at Hana by noon. If you’re already hungry by then, one of the places with a very enticing setting for you to relax and have lunch in is the Hana Ranch Restaurant located at the Hotel Hana-Maui. A night’s stay here will also prove to be a pleasureable experience for you if you choose to do so.

After a good meal, feast your eyes on the various beautiful art work available at the Hana Coast Gallery. The gallery is one of the more well appreciated ones in the heart of Hawaii. If you have the enthusiasm for it, go on a 3-mile hike to the Fagan’s Cross that is perched on a high hill near Hana. A spectacular view of the harbor of Hana awaits you on top.

The entire trip will have a total of 180 miles. This includes the trip from West Maui going to Hana and around the southernmost part of East Maui. The travel might seem rigorous to some, and navigating your vehicle is a challende through some parts, but it’s worth the travel. As long as you take proper caution and good common sense, you will never regret visiting Hana in Maui, Hawaii and that is an assurance.
