You haven’t got time for dithering around. Time is limited for planning, so make up your mind where you want to go and don’t re-think. Stick to your decision, because you need to make your bookings as soon as possible. The earlier you do this, the more likely there are to be vacancies at hotels, tickets available on flights, and so on.
As well as where to go, you need to decide how long you are going to spend, and what your budget is going to be. These decisions will help you with making your arrangements, such as what type of accommodation you are going to look for. Depending on your choice of hotel, for example, there may not be a pick up service from the airport to get you there; in fact you will usually have to find your own way. It might all sound confusing at first, but once you are there it will make a lot more sense.

It is especially important in these times of recession that you bear your budget in mind. Many businesses are struggling, and this will mean that there are discounts and excellent deals to be had if you look around. If your budget does not stretch to an overseas vacation, then don’t try and go to another country on the cheap. You won’t enjoy yourself this way, worrying about the expense all the time, so instead relax and enjoy all that your own country has to offer.
