This Year’s Top Spring Destinations

There are lots of places in the world which are considered to be top spring destinations, but the best of these is Cancun. The United States’ economic crisis has caused many people to travel to Panama City, South Padre or Miami for a relaxing vacation, rather than going to the more crowded Europe.

Cancun is like paradise, and attracts many return visitors. There are stunning beaches here as well as great night clubs. It is also a popular spot for students, and the best places are easily accessible by bus or ferry. Xel-Ha is an excellent choice if you enjoy snorkeling, or for peaceful and romantic beaches and old ruins, how about Tulum. Cancun is surely a top spring destination for anyone who has a passport.

Other top choices for white sandy beaches and clear blue waters are the Bahamas and Jamaica. If you enjoy swimming and sunbathing, you will find great places to do these here. For the budget conscious, there are reasonably priced cruises available. Negril is the choice for those who want peace and quiet, or Jamaica if you prefer water sports and night life.

Puerto Vallarta is the top choice for terrific night life as well as getting to know friendly people, and there are also great deals on accommodation to be found here. If you like adventure and action, how about some parasailing or mountain biking? Another choice for those who enjoy parties is Mazatlan, which is an especially good option if you don’t have a passport.

Perhaps you enjoy snow sports instead, in which case how about heading for North America’s ski resorts? The snow can be excellent during the spring, but you need to be careful of the high resort prices as well as the cost of lift tickets. There are some quieter spots to be found, however, especially if you want a romantic getaway.

Top spring destinations for many are to be found in Europe, especially Berlin, Frankfurt, Florence, Madrid, Rome, Amsterdam, London and of course Paris. These cities are cool at this time of year, so socializing is mainly indoors. The great thing about visiting here in spring, however, is that there is less crowding.

Puerto Rico’s Rosario Beach is a good choice for last minute decisions or people who don’t have a passport. It is a beautiful beach, and enjoys good weather in springtime. There are also plenty of clubs to enjoy the night life, though for the under 18s be aware that the drinking age is 18.

Acapulco in Mexico is a city right on the beach, and another top spring destination. For a quiet vacation away from it all, how about Playa Pie de la Cuesta. La Condesa is a better choice if you prefer to be part of a crowd. There are plenty of hotels to choose from, and Puerto Marques is worth a visit.

So, check out the various options for top spring destinations and enjoy your vacation!
