Taking a 15 Day Tour of East Africa
When thinking about traveling through the long sought after region of East Africa, there is no better way then by taking a packaged tour. Beginning in world famous Tanzania, you will travel through Arusha to see the many sights it has to offer.
While staying at your hotel you will be able to get a clear view of Mount Meru before you begin your expedition. After taking two days to settle in, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park which is located along the Rift Valley escarpment. This is an amazing jungle like atmosphere which is set in the middle of the forest. From the minute you step foot into the park you will see many animals such as the buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest. From there you will head to the incredible Ngorongoro Serena Lodge which is located at the Ngorongoro Crater. The view from your terrace is of the crater floor itself, so you won’t have to go far for picture taking opportunities. You can take a day long crater tour which includes a picnic lunch, which shows you the very best of the crater which is the largest in the world. You will be guided along through the day so that you will be able to recognize some of the wildlife population you will encounter on your tour.
After finishing your stay at the crater you will be taken to the world famous Serengeti Game Reserve where you will have the opportunity to see the wildlife up close and personal. There are game drives where you will drive around to see this wildlife, all of which are narrated by experienced drivers who will give you loads of information on the many animals you will encounter. The tour then ends with a night at the Norfolk Hotel where you will have a full day to explore the surrounding area on your own.
Changing areas again, you will head to the Samburu Game Reserve where you will stay at the Samburu Serena Lodge which overlooks the Uaso Nyiro River. Here you will see the water animals such as crocodiles and hippos. These animals are used to having tourists surround them and often make themselves readily available to be photographed and looked at, so make sure to remember to bring your camera.
Finally you will head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Noted as one of Kenya’s most incredible wildlife sanctuary, you will be able to take in more than a million wildebeest, zebra, mongoose, giraffe, leopards, hippos, black rhinos, and many more animals that you rarely get to see. During this trip you will also interact with the local Maasai people in the middle of the Maasai Village. Guided through your day, you will have an interpreter so you can really learn what traditions, cultures, and experiences these local people have to show you.

The Explore East Africa, 14-night, 15-day tour provides the optimum time and opportunity to see and experience the very best! Beginning in Tanzania, you will soon arrive in Arusha, where your hotel presents a view of Mount Meru.
Your third day will be at the Lake Manyara National Park, located along the Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara National Park, an amazing jungle-like atmosphere within the forest, contains huge herds of buffalo, zebra and wildebeest. In perpetual migration, the Park has an abundance of pink flamingoes.
On your fourth and fifth day, you will stay at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, where you can view the crater floor from your terrace. There is a day-long crater tour, including a picnic lunch. There, you will start by visiting the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the largest in the world– 3188 meters above sea level, 610 meters deep, covering an area of 325 square kilometers. The area surrounding the crater contains the most dense wildlife population in the world.
Your sixth, seventh and eighth days will be at the world-famous Serengeti Game Reserve. After a stop at the prehistoric Olduvai Gorge, you can take part in the twice-daily game drives, accompanied by experienced guides, giving you the opportunity to have up-close viewing of the wildlife.
The ninth day is a day for your own personal leisure, to catch up on relaxation; and you will stay the night at the fabulous Norfolk Hotel.
You will then have two days at the Samburu Game Reserve. While here, you will stay at the Samburu Serena Lodge, overlooking the crocodile-and-hippo filled Uaso Nyiro River. The twice-daily game drives at the Reserve are a bit different– you will experience being in the presence of wildlife that are quite familiar with tourists and seem to have no objection to being photographed!
Your next stop will be for three days at the Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is Kenya’s most outstanding wildlife sanctuary. In addition to more than a million wildebeest and approximately 250,000 zebra, the Masai Mara Game Reserve contains a wide variety of birdlife, mongoose, giraffe, leopard, black rhino, hippo, hyena, gazelle, buffalo, and lion. You will also visit the Maasai Village and be instructed in the culture and lifestyle of the Maasai people.
On your final day of this tour you will lunch at the Carnivore, a game restaurant, and have the remainder of the day for leisure at the Norfolk Hotel before boarding your flight to return home.

I think East Africa is one of the great place to visit. Last time I visited Tanzania, I was able to visit Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti National Parks. It is one of the places you have to visit if you like wildlife and nature.
