If you enjoy snow sports, then Gstaad is an excellent choice for you. Not only does it have awe inspiring mountain scenery, but it is considered to be one of Europe’s most romantic spots. As well as skiing, you can also go for a gondola ride here. See if you can spot the charming edelweiss flower while you’re in the mountains. And what could be cosier than snuggling by the open fire in the evening? There are lots of interesting boutiques and craft shops in Gstaad itself, and in fact activities here to enjoy all year round.
Costa de la Luz, Spain
This is just one of Spain’s many romantic vacation spots, situated not far from the Costa del Sol. Here there are quaint little seaside towns begging to be explored, as well as sandy beaches to stroll along. If you like hiking, the mountains are close by, and in the evenings how about some tapas, or a glass of Spanish sherry in the bodegas. Many types of accommodation are here to choose from, including villas, inns and luxury hotels. For the more adventurous amongst you, this is a good spot for wind surfing.
The Mediterranean
