Finding Inexpensive Family Rates on All-Inclusive and Resort Vacations

When you first start looking into all-inclusive vacations, you may be tempted to leave the children at home. The rates seem expensive at first, especially when you think about bringing the entire family. However, so many of these resort vacation spots have discounts that make them a lot less expensive then you may think.

You can start by searching the Internet for discounts that pertain to children. Many resorts offer a lower rate for children with a lot of amenities. They are often given a discount identification card when they arrive that are good for free or discounted admissions for local attractions, and even for free meals with at least one full paying adult. They usually are given to children up to age 12. There are even some all-inclusive resorts that allow children to stay with their parents for free up to a certain age, and even include free child care or low-cost full day activities for children so the parents can have some alone time. Better yet, there are even all-inclusive resorts that have nannies for the children that are included in the overall price. This can save a lot of money on typical hotel babysitting services that other hotels offer.

By looking on a travel website you can find out a lot of information and even compare different all-inclusive vacations. You can find out the price and what exactly it includes. Often the rate is quoted per adult but may include accommodations for up to two children as well. Make sure to read what is not included such as the prices for the children’s services, and extra fees. Often the resort does not include airfare, so it is best to price that as well for your entire family so you know what you will be spending.

Family friendly resorts are very popular, but make sure the resort you are looking at is considered to be family friendly. These usually offer the best discounts if you plan on taking your children along on the vacation with you. There are even resorts for single parents that offer child care or nanny services included in the price of the resort. They do not base their rates on two adults so you can rest assured you are still getting the best deal you can.

If you can’t find what you are looking for online, it is a good idea to consult with a travel agent who may be more familiar with all-inclusive resorts. They are able to find the best discounts and do the research for you so that you know for sure you are getting a great rate with as many activities and amenities as you need.

Resort vacations and all-inclusive vacations are more affordable then ever before, and they are an excellent way to involve the entire family. As long as you do your research you are sure to have a wonderful vacation.
