People go on vacations all the time and the main reason is to get away from work and the stresses of life just for a little while.
You can budget travel as well which will save money all the way around. If you cut back on the dining out in fancy restaurants and eat in local diners or make a picnic you can save a lot of money. Instead of going to expensive resorts or amusement parks choose to go camping and go on wildlife hikes. You will love it and your stress will melt away. You don’t have to travel far from home if you are on a tight budget. Pick a destination that is closer to home so you can save on petrol. Get a hotel room with a kitchen so you can prepare your own meals. If you don’t eat out as often you can save large amounts of money.
That is not to say you should cut dining out completely out. You will want to splurge a little. There is nothing wrong with putting some of your hard earned cash into the troubled economy. The idea is to cut back not cut out everything that is enjoyable to you.
